Teogenes Bravo

In this unit are learning about the American revolution. we are learning of the causes of the revolution and that was to run themselves and start a democracy. Which was because of the Quatering act, the stamp act, and the stamp act. which led to the Boston tea party when colonists dressed up like Native Americans and dropped multiple boxes of tea into the harbor. They threw 10,000 dollars worth of tea.And that made the sons and daughters of liberty.  were sick of all the taxing the British were giving them. Which later led to the events of the Boston massacre where the British opened fire on colonist on march 3, 1770 on king street due to a frighted British troop shooting into a crowd of colonist who were bothering him and other British troops. But only 5 colonist were killed in this event. Then the British toke over New York and George Washington and his men sailed the Hudson river. Escaping from the British while they burned all of New York down to the ground while other patriots  were captured by the British and put in British prison ships which were brutal to live in with all the amounts of poor living conditions and large numbers of rats. i also figured out  multiple meanings behind vocabulary words in this unit such as a plantation which a business of crops planted and grown by resident labor. the slave code was a law passed down to prevented a rebellion by multiple slaves. and a cash crop is a crop planted only for commercial value. A patroon is a person given a large amount of land. and finally the triangular trade was when the united states Europe and Africa exported goods between one another
