In this unit i learned about the Salem witch trials a very dark and grim time in american time where the puritans were experiencing very weird and supernatural things. For instance girls and women were moving around as if they had strobes and later were pointing fingers at multiple people. Telling others that they were witch. So the ones the girls told on were put on a trial and some were put in prison to die alone. while others were killed by hanging or burning they over a fire. I have figured out the meaning of a longhouse which a structure made by the Iroquois to help them survive the conditions of the forest. the meaning of an astrolabe which was a tool used to measure the stars. i know what a caravel is which was a small and fast moving ship.
